BDK Parfums Rouge Smoking Eau de Parfum provokes a pleasant addiction.
With sweet and vanilla notes, David Benedek—founder of the brand—and perfumer Amélie Bourgeois create an olfactory portrait of Pigalle, one of the most bohemian and chic districts of Paris, where neon reigns and is home to the Moulin Rouge cabaret.
Together they worked on the cherry accord that makes Smoking Rouge a perfume unlike any other. Instead of cherry juice, this fragrance captures the essence of the fruit through its stone and makes it addictive with notes of black Madagascar vanilla and musks. It only contains one flower: heliotrope, which gives an almond facet that blends perfectly with the tonka bean, giving rise to a comfortable and elegant but mischievous perfume at the same time; sweet tooth without being overwhelmingly so.
Vitality, erotic energy and mystery are captured in this art deco design bottle that emotionally pays homage to Yves Saint Laurent. Smoking Rouge refers to the tuxedo suit that the designer created for women.
