Manuka honey is highly anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. We'll show you three delicious ways to incorporate it into your daily routine.
Not all honey is created equal. The same is true of New Zealand Manuka honey. Gabriella and her husband enhance this prized variety by producing it raw, unprocessed, and in small batches. But why is it so powerful? It comes from the nectar of the Manuka bush, which grows wild in certain areas of New Zealand. It contains methylglyoxal (GMO), an active ingredient with exceptional antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. So much so that it's often used to treat wounds and burns, as well as gastric problems like Helicobacter pylori.
The jcApotecari staff shows you how to enjoy it by the spoonful or apply it to your skin.
