According to Greek mythology, the first fig tree emerged when Gaia, goddess of the Earth, turned her lover, the rebellious Sykeus, into a fig tree to hide him from the wrath of Zeus. Perfumer and philosopher James Heeley drew inspiration from this passionate myth to create the perfume Athena, also known as Parfum des Dieux ( the fragrance of the gods ).

The key to its refreshing aroma lies in fig and aquatic notes. But melon is the icing on the cake that makes this perfume bright, cheerful, and joyful.

The Doric column drawn on the bottle label is the prelude to an elegant , green, solar and daytime aroma.

• Top notes: green leaves, galbanum
• Heart notes: white tea, fig and melon
• Base notes: amber, musk, sandalwood

Apply Heeley Athenean to the neck and wrists as desired. Reapply every 6 hours.
